Turn signal stopped blinking
Yesterday I noticed that my turn signal stopped blinking on the dashboard. I parked the car and checked to see if it was blinking outside the car and it was not, just a solid yellow light on either side.
What do I need to do to get it blinking again? The car is a 1969 911 T. Thanks for your help, -Nino |
Nino--
I'm going to guess that a relay has gone bad, but the electrical gurus here will surely be able to tell you more definitively. |
Does anyone know where the turn signal relay is located?

I had a problem like this and found that the bulb was faulty; it made intermittent contact in the housing.

Relay
Pull out your oil level/temp gauge. Use a flashlight. It's behind the gauge mounted just forward and down. It's black. If it cooked itself it will show signs of getting hot. They do wear out.
I don't have the part number but don't get an aftermarket one from Autozone or anywhere else. Use a Hella piece and it will work flawlessly. I've had experience with the ones from BAP/GEON and NAPA. Good luck, Tom |
Bad flasher or bad bulb.

It is a bad flasher. The bulbs all work just fine.
