Headlight Washers Standard on '88's?

My '88 Cab doesn't have headlight washers in the bumper. Should it have? Or were they optional on '88's?

I don't see a switch on my dash for headlight washers either, so I don't think it ever had them.

My 88 doesn't have them either. In fact my 88 was very lowly equipped (I like it like that... less chance of anything going wrong):
-no headlight washers
-no rear wiper
-no intense windscreen washing system
-no automatic climate
-no fully powered seats

I think it was as basic as it comes... I wish the seats were all manual and I wish there wasn't a sunroof

They were definitely an option. My old '88 was similar to 911teo's above. It had spoilers (PO had removed the rear, and 16" Fuchs, I don't think it had much else that wasn't stock.

No separate switch for headlight washers. Headlight washers uses the same switch to spray as the windshield washers. The only difference is the headlights must be on for the washer to work.

There IS a separate switch for the headlight washers (at least on my '85) - its a small toggle switch mounted in the right side of the dash - similar to the mirror toggle, but on the other side of the dash.

Besides, aren't they too over the top? It's sort of like, "for the man who has everything, give him headlight washers."
