My list of "to-do's" is mainly cosmetic for now..

-Fix paint chips.
-Put rear fuchs (7's) on front and get some 8's for the rear.
-Strip and paint wheels all black except for lip.
-Fix drooping interior headliner behind driver.
-Remove, strip, and powder-coat window trim.

Cheers!

Nikolai

Um, I think you're already on 7+8" what you need are the wheel spacers that are supposed to be used with that set up. Longer studs and the spacers in the back. Nice car and a great start if you're gonna mod it.

If I'm up there anytime soon I have a set of 930 spacers I'll drop off to you. Gotta find them first..

Hi randy. I figured I was on 6&7's because of how far they are under. It's not a factory widebody I believe because that wasn't an option in '80. Would the spacers still work? If that solved the issue I'd be indebted to you forever!

My buddy Emerson has a 79 Euro 930 in silver that he switched to 17" Kinesis last year. He removed the spacers and had his studs shortened. I gotta post a pic of that thing. It's a nasty, nasty car. Prior to that he had 7" + 8" and the spacers, all factory installed.

I'm off topic - anyhow, you need to have longer studs installed (not a big deal) in the rear and the spacers will just slide on. On the fronts, I'm not sure hopefully Bill Verburg will chime in but it's probably due to the fact you don't have the 930 rotors in the front so your offset is off. Probably a canidate for spacers there as well. Get some good ones for the front.

I'm way overdue on a trip to Rasputins or Shabusen's up there anyhow. I'll see if I can make it up there this weekend or next. I'll let you know. It's inevitable I'll be there...

Shabusen's, that's the one off of Burrard right? Where you cook it yourself on the hot tables? My best friend's dad used to own that place.

S**t, I'm so confused as to what setup I have now!

I'll pm you my main email and # incase you make it up here. I also make it down there fairly often as my friend I mentioned lives there now.

What would you want for the spacers btw?

BTW, I checked out your car, simply awsome. We have similar taste, clean and mean!

That's the one. Shabusen's rocks. Don't worry about $$$, just put 'em to good use.. They're collecting dust. I'll never use them (famous last words!)

Also have a home brew cat bypass made out of a magnaflow muffler I bought used from Dave @ TRE last year too if you need that. Came off an 80 SC and it's in great shape - I'll take $100 CDN for it if you want that as well. Won't fit my car since I had the heat backdated and the elbow to the heat exchangers changed to a Turbo piece so it's shorter... Works fine with non turbo though.

If you're down here just email me, check your PM. Either way...

Hmmm, cat bypass? How much extra kick would that supply? I certainly wouldn't mind a bit more!

It changed the exhaust note on mine, i have a factory euro piece that's smaller in diameter than the Magnaflow piece. Made my throttle response much better - note that the Magnaflow piece DOES NOT have the o2 bung.

I just did a quick scan of the garage and I can't seem to find the spacers..... Shoot I hope I didn't toss 'em...
