How would this spolier grill only look in slate grey with the center divider shiny silver?



This is not my car, but looks very close. I just got this brand new split grill spoiler, which is painted slate grey and clear coated. It looks way too good to paint to match my car's mid. blue metallic. I think it would look great as is on the car.

No, mine is a non-widebody C2, but looks almost like an S since it's so low, has 285's in the rear and Big Reds now too.

My inclination is that you should paint it to match, RL. Otherwise it'll always look "tacked on."

Im not a big fan of "look likes" but since you allready have the spoiler, paint it to match.

Jim, our stock spoiler grills are matte black or grey anyway, so I don't think this one would look tacked on.

Yes. That looks a lot like the stock grill, except that it's split. Also, I have just the grill insert. You colored part of the actual spoiler too, though that frame part is already blueon my car. How about making just the center divider blue?

That looks bad. Like an attempt at backdating a 993. You will have to paint it car color. No way I'd slap it on as is.

I would probably paint it all blue. The second photo looks great, too. Personal preference.

You might be interested in this porsche decal. The 28" size, sits flush with the rear spoiler wall. Looks great and is factory looking!

Can i ask, is there any performance benefit to the split S grill over your stock one? Or is this just for aesthetics?

as for the big reds, we know those have a good bite - as well as looking pretty sweet too..

you know, I've never met a bunch of people (myself included) with more of an issue with instant gratification. Looks great, but if there's any way to paint the center strip blue to match the car, it'd look hella sweet.
