Backdating a 79 coupe
I have a 79 911 and want to backdate it to a 73RS. I keep hearing that many aftermarket fiberglass parts are not well made and fit poorly. What would anyone out there recommend in terms of companies that make parts that are well made and fit with a minimum of hassle.

call TRE 818.509.0257. They know this stuff backwards and fowards, and sell the parts too.

There is a guy on the board that has a black 72t that was modified with a bunch of fiberglass parts from rennspd.com . He speaks highly of their fit and quality but I'm not sure if he's comfortable posting pics of his car on the net

My car has been back dated with just fiber glass parts. Go to the "ultimate backdating thread"

Thanks to those of you who responded to my question re: backdating my 911 SC to a 73 RS. I will check out the information you passed on. If anyone else has any good ideas, please pass them on to me. Thanks

We sell fiberglass parts from various people. I would recomend steel parts for a street car. Better fit and no rock chips from underneath.l
