Does Your Home Match Your 911?

I ran across this image recently. It is (I believe) from a 70s style guide, showing the best in european home decor.

I like the idea of having a drive-in kitchen accented in lovely brown to match my rosewood SC, but I'm not so sure my new wife would go for it...

My memory suddenly returned, and I was able to find the site where this image originated. Enjoy!

If the green parts were white or tan, that could look like a modern retro kitchen. You don't see "booze displays" much anymore, though.

yeah , my living room is just as messy as my trunk
the kitchen could use new paint, just like my engine bay
and my bed room could use some major tidying up , so does the cockpit of my car....

i keep telling myself i'll clean up my dump after i get my car sorted... but the car isn't cooperating... yet...

I spend far more money on the Porsche than on the house. Porsche is far too important.

Thanks! You just saved me some photoshop time when I got home tonight. I think I'll forward this over to my new bride, & see what she thinks...

That site was pretty funny. There was a kitchen with a horse stable attached. I'm not sure what would be worse. A kitchen with car exhaust or a kitchen with horse exhaust!!?!??!

Well, my home was built in 1930 and most of the furnature is older than that. I don't think I ever bought anything new for the house outside of a bed and the fridge. No carpets, just old rugs. Old people live here and there's a '44 Jeep in the garage next to the Boxster.

I have tools from the 50's and 60's that I use daily and a collection of tools from much earlier in the century in a collection. I think the 911 is happy here.

I showed the pic to Cindy...Cindy who cooks very well, thank you. She took one glance, said EEEwwww! Guess she must prefers things to be functional when it comes to cooking? Alas, now that she recently got new appliances? She's talking about cabinets and counter tops. Guys? Could such things be as important as neatrix bushings and turbo brakes???

Don't ever let them get started, Paul - strategic error. It is exactly like the "while I'm in there" syndrom on car repair. I dunno how you can back out now. ...

Randy/Seattle -- I think that bathroom must have been designed to have a vibratory effect that will instantly relieve constipation....
