yeah the other thing I was told is to make sure to use new bolts when you change / repack CV joints...

also check your flanges to make sure none of the holes are stripped...

Just be happy that the free end of the shaft didn't flail around badly enough to destroy anything else.

You need the plates on the inner and outer CV.

If they are the 6mm Allen bolts, torque to 30 Ftlbs. If they are the 8mm bolts, torque to 60 Ftlbs

Thanks for all the great advice!

I guess Ill be placing a order to Pelican for some brackets and lockwashers.

Maybee even some saftey wire depending on my mood. :D
