Anyone in CO ever see this car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2485078933&category=10156#ebayphotohosting

Looks nice, just wish it wasn't a 75

'75 or not, I would get a PPI done. Then fly out there and if it checks out, drive it back from CO .

HEy - that's my car! (My old car, that is - sometimes called "Baby BLue"). It was in fabulous condition. I sold it for $18k to Larry Morgan in Colo (the eBay seller). He did not titile it in Colo. and sold it to a poor guy from Germany, who had toruble getting it out of the country (search my posts a few days ago on this). Now it's back on eBay -- I wonder if it is Houston (wehre the German guy had it shipped to) or back in Colo.(?). I have a lot of information on this car if anybody wants it. The car is super - SSIs & Webers, + fully strengthened engine. Not a spec of rust (when I had it). Hardly even had paint chips. It is heavy tho - a lot of lead sound dampening material. A high quality cruiser is what I would call it. The crazy guy who had it before me spent $50,00+ on it (I had receitps for that much) + stereo + alarm + adding German leather.
Don't worry about it being a '75 unless you have emissions check issues in your state. Do be a bit concerned about whether the seller has apdi Colo. taxes on it and find out what has happened to it in its journeys since it left my house in Oregon. I'm not trying to sell the car to any body here, but I would like to see it go to a good home. (Morgan said his daughter got divorced and he needed the money to help her out - but also check his eBay history - he may have told somebody else something similar in another sale earlier - or maybe not. He seemed nice on the phone.)

Anyobdoy seriously interested can get attachments of Word file s and excel files from me off-list at xrw and then an at sign and att and a dot and then the 3 letters N E T -- to avoid spammers picking this up.

Ok - followup after looking at his ad again - there is a degree of puffery there - e.g. I would not call those two guys reknowned engine builders by any means. Usually competent Pcar mechanics, yes. But no more.

I'd says his ad is about 85% correct maybe more. Post any specific questions and I can answer based on the condition when it left my house.

That car does look pretty good in the pics. Actually, VERY good!

However, as always, proceed with common sense and patience.
