Does this squealing noise sound like a bearing or something rubbing?
Hi all,
My '72 has developed a squealing noise from the driver rear wheel, but it's intermittent. After two days of thunderstorms, it would not stop squealing. But after the second day of sun, it went away, at least for a little while. It doesn't increase when I press the brakes, but it does goes away everytime I turn or swerve right. Any suggestions? I did a search...but I think this clip might help... Thanks! http://www.nocturnal-motorsports.com/images/squealing.MPG

Yikes. I'd pull the wheel immediately and look for something out of place. The few bearing I've heard have been higher pitched.

It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. I had a rear whell bearing go on my '69. There was a steady vibration coming from the rear of the car that varied with speed. It did not sound like a worn bearing in the front wheels or alternator, etc.
