kevin is a wicked painter. seen jack's car in monterey in 03 and 04. you would be in good hands. i also believe you did the flares on Rob's car (catherine wheel) right kevin? also a very very very sweet car.
what's the latest thoughts on color?

Bob: I did the paint on Rob's car, TRE Motorsports had the flares done by someone else. I did most of the body on Jack O's car

like you i have become a fan of the early colors especially signal orange. if i had to do it over again i would start exploring old vw swatch books or 356 colors. find some really obscure color. emory from 356shop.com has incredible taste in color choices. the recent excellence is a good read in which they feature a 356 owner and choosing color. i really liked his thought process. i was heavily influenced by the es-matsuda silver R. there was no other color. now i would do a single stage paint in aga blue with silver p scripts. i would want the blue real flat with very little depth.

Any place online to look at some of these old VW/356 colors? Im getting ready to paint my car and want to find the "perfect" color
