Changing Transmission Fluid
My next chore on the car is the change the transmission fluid to some Swepco. Have no idea when it was last changed or what is in there. I think I have most of it figured out except for one thing. Can you just jack up the back or does it have to be up on 4 jack stands to be even? I'm not real excited about being under it with 4 jack stands. And if it needs to be on 4 jack stands, how do you jack it up? I can't seem to fit my jack under the front of the car so I use the jack pad when I need to do something to the front and do one side at a time. Can you jack up one side and put the jack stands down and then do the other without the first side getting unstable during jacking?
