Fuchs - Dumb question on inside painted color

I have just finished preparing my 6" & 7" (x16) Fuchs for painting with our hosts "Satin Finish" Black, to be installed on my 81 SC.

I noticed that 3 of the 4 wheels had the 'inside' of the rim (facing toward the tire) painted black, while one of the 7" ones was silver..... The 'in-facing side' that can be seen when the tires are mounted are black on all four.

The factory seemed to do things for a reason... like the red dot for where to mount the wheel.

Is there any reason for one of the Fuchs to be silver on the side facing the tire??

Ive noticed that the type 951 fuchs wheels are silver inside but also have seen the type 911 wheels in silver , black, and also white. Dont really have a solid answer for you though.

Just one of the many fuchs production variations. But, on an original set, they should all match. Since one is different from the rest, I would guess that it was replaced at some point due to prior accident damage/curb rash/theft/etc. Or, the PO bought the (mis-matched) set to replace the stock 15's. Either way, no big deal.
