Need help with Dash Pad Part number?

I am trying to figure out which dash pad I need for my 1984 Carrera Targa.

I found this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=40017 , if I put that part number in on Pelican it comes up Special Order at $529.

If I go to Pelican and look in the parts Catalog, I get Dash Pad, with center vent, black, 911 (1977-85)C-552-055-04 for $975.http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_interi_pg9.htm#item42

Which one does my car need?

Thanks for your help.

Michael

Interesting...that ebay dashboard went up to 595, reserve not met and then relisted...

What is the dash on ebay?

Michael,

In your first post you provided a link to an ebay auction for a dashboard...price is like $250 now.

I found that the same dashboard had been auctioned before, did not make the reserve price, and was relisted.

My point is that I don't think you can get the ebay dashboard for less than one from PelicanParts...

Chuck,

Thanks, but is that the correct dash board for my 84? The part numbers that AFJuvat, list for closer to 2k. So I am wondering why that one list for $528 on Pelican, says it would work, and then the others are so much more.

Sorry I didn't have any coffee today.

Oh, Ok I see what you mean. To me it looks like the same part with two different prices. You might call Pelican parts to get the scoop. The $500 something price seems to good to be true...if you plug in 911552055047AE in other part number look ups (such as the one on the Stoddard page http://www.*************/shop/shopsearch.asp) the price is over $1K. The other thing is that I think you can remove the "c" add "911" to the Pelican part number (C-552-055-04) to get a porsche part number...in this case it would be 91155205504. Not sure if I helped or confused the situation. Hmmm probably worth a call.
