Yet another brake question (77 930)

Hi,

The master cylinder on my '77 930 has failed, and I am thinking about upgrading to a larger unit so I can install larger calipers in the future. Bill's chart seems to have a hole in it where the '77 model year 930 is concerned. Does anyone know what size master cylinder my (vacuum boosted) 930 has? Can any later (and larger) master cylinder be bolted in without extensive machining or welding?

20.6mm

Yes, the larger 23.8mm 930 m/c can just bolt on. There were some minor differences in the wiring for the brake light switches which amount to 2 pole or 3 but thats the only issue.
