about the leather color reconditioning
I have the dark brown leather - my side rear panels have darkened/faded quite a bit. Are there any good products to rejuvenate the color without actually dyeing. Under the trim, the brown is much lighter. I have changed the interior carpet to black and would like all the brown leather to be halfway consistent
Any thoughts. thanks |
Check out Leatherique. Their stuff is great!

will leatherique just condition with the rejuve oil or will this stuff actually get the almost faded black back to brown like the edges orginally
|
I don't know, but it's worth a call or e-mail to them to get their opinion.
Do you know why it's blackened? Is it super dirty? Is it really dry? I thought that leather faded and got lighter.... When I used the Rejuvinator Oil and Prestine Clean, I think my seats looked a little lighter, but that's probably because they were a little dirty. The leather itself, though, was in pretty good shape. |
Not sure, i have tried cleaning, leather is not too bad - definitely not treated by the previous owner over the years - Targa & Sun.
I will call tomorrow and see if those 2 products will do it or if they recommend dying. |
