They built mine last year! It was a great experience! I could not be happier with their work. I would certainly use them again. Price was competitive and quality was unbelievable. They completed the job on the day they said they would at the cost quoted.
They can rebuilt one very quickly...Henry Schmidt, the owner posts on the "engine rebuilding" thread a lot and has posted pictures of engines they have completed in as little as a week. They took about a month on mine, but they had to find a core for me as I wanted to move up from my 2.7 to a 3.0. Do a search...lots of info on Supertec..here is one example!

Feel free ask or to PM me if you have any questions. I don't think Henry follows the "technical" thread much, but if you post a question on the "engine rebuild" thread, he seems to check that out every couple days. He came highly recommended to me by some hard-core Porsche guys....He will do a simple rebuild and give you a great warranty...or build as exotic as you wish...high butterfly, turbo, etc. He has a couple of wrenches who are great guys and first rate mechanics too!

I've see a lot of posts by Henry and his knowledge and experience are very high. I haven't used him yet but I plan to have him build me a long stroke 3.4 using my turbo case as a base.

I did my research and ended up at Supertec. I couldn't be happier. The engine looks and runs great, and the price was exactly what I was quoted. How rare is that.

3.5 Tubro, Carrera cams, K27, big ports
327 rear wheel HP. start to finish 34 days.
