Very nice! What are those A-032Rs like for regular driving around? Your car doesn't look like a daily driver (it's too nice ), but are those tires any good in the wet? It's probably the only thing keeping me from buying a set for my coupe.

Adam,
Those tyres are loud, great grip, but loud. I've never had them in the rain; don't think they're very good. Thanks for the kind words. Have you seen the 048's?

John,
When I saw your car on the "ultimate coupe thread", I had to see how many folks shared our taste. Nice car, BTW!
Cheers,
J.p.

I've gone through a few sets of 032s on the street. As noted, loud. In the rain you can keep up with traffic on the freeway without hydroplaning when they are fresh, but you can't maintain the speed you could with normal tires. The tread depth goes quickly, though, and then they suck (like all other tires without tread). I've gotten into the habit of getting a new set on the car just before the winter rainy season (in northern CA) and it seems to work well. They do grip well...

I've just switched to Toyo RA1s for my street tires, which I expect will be a little better in almost every respect.

OK, you've introduced a term with which I am unfamiliar ... what does G body refer to?

Do A032Rs get less loud as they wear out? Mine don't seem that loud, but I bought them used and they don't have all that much more left in them.

Andy,
Mine have gotten louder, not much but a little louder. I guess the more rubber that contacts the pavement the more resonance gets fedback.
