Color schemes for 911
 

Looking for any ideas to spruce up my 77 911. It is slate blue which I am going to repaint slate blue but I am not sure what else to due to make look different. I am keeping the Fuchs but am thinking a different color than black. I was juggling the idea of guards red fuchs with the red Carrera Script for the sides with some type of red pin strip crossing the bumpers on the vertical surface. I have seen a few cars on this board with the same idea though with different colors that look incredible. Maybe they were race cars, not sure. I am just not sure this look will work with slate blue?

Any suggestions or other ideas would be appreciated? I am out of ideas.

I have tried mixing looks with Excel Paint but it just doesn't work. If somebody could do some picture magic, that would be real helpful.

Oh, stopped at a Porsche/Audi dealership this morning. Guy outside had a 996 and i say, nice 996. He says no, it's a 911.
He asks if I want to buy it and I say no, already have enough problems and I couldn't afford it anyway. He asks what I have and i say 77 Carrera 3.0. He thens says I should upgrade. Thought that was sort of a wierd thing to say. Nice guy though, gave me piece of candy which I took but didn't eat. Don't eat candy from strangers.
