1970 2.2 E engine value
 

Does anybody here know how much a 2.2E engine is worth for parts ?

i'm talking a not running engine, or at least one that hasn't run in a while , still trying to figure out if it turns over manually or not

it has the MFI pump, throttle stacks , linkage, to go with it

muffler and HE's too , but rusted , don't care bout those anyway...

i'm not thinking immidiate use, i'm thinking taking it apart, learning thing ( don't wanna take my S engine apart as it has good compression and everything)

later on ... spare engine... E cams... more practical if i wanna go on a big road trip...

any ideas?

over here motors like that are worth anywhere from $1000 to 2500 depending on region of the country and condition

this one doesn't look to be in great condition, i mailed the seller, asking if it still turns over manually or not...

but i'll assume it's not worth more than 1K then... i'll pass
it's 500 km away... i'de have to burn the better part of 200 euro's on fuel alone to pick it up, and it's already on 1060 euro's...and to much chance of a worst case scenario "useless hump of metal"

pretty bad shape... don't need the HE's or Muffler
but the MFI pump is probably seized up
the engine.. could be seized up, broken internals, anything, i think the oil cooler isn't there.. and for all i know, the left side valve covers are gone too...can't see
