How do I restore my brushed Aluminum dash trim?
Hi All,
How Do I Restore My Brushed Aluminum Dash Trim? It's got nicks, scratches and could use some TLC....... Any body done this? Or better yet has anyone had new pieces cut to fit? Where and who did this for you? How much did it cost?

Scotchbrite wheels are often used to brush aluminum in the first place. Even hand pads might work if the parts aren't removeable. There are varying grits. I didn't realize there was brushed Al on some models.

That early dash has s strip of it. See if you can find some aluminum to expirement with. Maybe a real course steel wool to blend the scratches and the above mention ScotchBrite to smooth it out/.
