I agree, there probably are quite a few still out there. They just might not be running or on the road.
These cars are so well liked that if ones sitting in the weeds somewhere it has a good chance of being brought back to life.
The exception is your totaled parts car It will probable still have a hard time ever being scraped as they make good lawn art.

It was quite funny, I had four Toyota Corollas on the front lawn and the neighbour was selling his house. He probably thought if he could get the Toyotas out of the vista it would be worth another 20K, so the cheeky bugger phoned the city council (city hall) to get my cars removed, LOL. I explained to the city council they were on my property and I can do what I like.

I see it as my contribution to keeping property values affordable in my area.

Is this the 911 or all Porsche models (minus the tractors). I wonder if it isn't Rolls Royce or Ferrari? Those companies don't have the 924, 944 and 928, leave alone 914s!

Seriously, I think there isn't many 914s left in the Vaterland. They all got killed by rust and folks that really liked the engines for their VW projects. Also, around here the 924 and 944 are a dime a dozen and must end up dead a lot. I see tons of them at Parts Heaven, in conditions that would never be junked if it were a 911.

Wow, interesting.. indeed two Brad Brown's on this board!

I'm referring to Brad Brown (bb80sc) on this Pelican board who drives an '80 SC and is in Ventura, CA.

For U.S. 1980 SC models - I'm #2227, he's #2230 - now if we can just find #2228 & #2229....

The unofficial word from Porsche is that numbers 2227 - 2230 were reserved for anyone with the name Brad Brown.
