Assemble in Reverse Order.....
 

What is the best / easiest sequence to use re-assemblying the oil lines and external thermostat on an SC? Start at the back and work forward seems like it might be the way to go, but then there are those pesky fittings on the thermostat to deal with! One thing that I have learned over the years is that there is ALWAYS one method that is superior to all others, the trick is to know what it is! As usuall, any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

I never had to do this job.. but I've read around here to drop the whole system and disassemble out of the car.

i did it from the front back. the back of the tstat is easier than the front fittings. so you want to get those while the oil lines are drooping a bit off the side of the car. then work back.

hi:
i recently put an fender mounted oil cooler in our targa. i connected all of the lines to the thermostat and connected the crossover lned then the line to the oil tank then connected them to the oil cooler....all that was left to do was to fasten to the car....

i think that is the easiest way,,, if i were to remove it, i would disconnect the oil cooler lines, then the oil tank and crossover lines and drop everything at once.
