3rd brake light

Looking for the wiring diagram for an 88 Carrera's third brake light.

Forgive the poor quality. If there's a question I can answer, let me know. The high-mounted light is in the lower right corner of this diagram. This is on page 970-66 of the Bentley Manual.

Thanks for the diagram. it is a bit hard to read. For some reason the 3rd brake light was mounted on the bottom of the window as opposed to the top (88 carerra targa). I can't seem to find where the 2 thin blk wires come out into the engine compartment to see if they are even connected. i put a tester on the two connections on the unit, pushed the break peddle and no reading from the tester. i know the car has had some rear end body work so I'm assuming the light was never reconnected?

Here's a closer view of the circuitry. I couldn't see where my wires come through the engine compartment either. There is a rubber feed-through grommet just above the fuel filter, but both wires go directly to a ground lug on the wall.
