Value of this 1996 993

I looked at this car this weekend, really clean, but I told the salesman the price was way to high.

What would you value this car at?

What year is it, a 95 or a 96?

If it's a '95 I'd say $35k (if a PPI determines that it doesn't need anything).

They sent me an e-mail today, asking me what I would pay, told him 35K and he never responded.

No more than $38k max as you can buy that car all day for about that....

Mileage is relatively low. I would say 35k to 40k depending on the service history of the car. The convertible/cabriolet adds value to most cars these days. Michael are you going to use this as your daily driver if you buy it?

I too am going to buy a low mileage 993 Cab in the next few weeks....my problem is that I already have Guards Red, and do not want Black, Silver, Grey or White. Most 993s are in those colors. If anyone comes across a nice Speed Yellow one please let me know via PM

Take your time, that is when the fun happens, while looking. You get to drive so many different cars and you are not obligated to buy any. If I could afford it, a 993 would definitely be one car to consider.

I believe the cabriolets tend to be the same $ or even less than the coupes. It is very strange. I think offering 35k was a very good move. It may be worth a bit more with the low miles though.
