Hi Speed, I had a little problem comming back from my buddies house on Lake Fenton. Some idiot in a Ranger pick-up didn't see me on his lane change and just barly touched my rt. front fender. I made an evasive move and didn't even feel it but I had damage when I got home. I was depressed for about three days. I am getting over it. Nothing that can't be fixed but it will take me about 20 hours worth of labor and $150 materials.

I had registered my car in Feb because we were planning to move up there in May and buy my parent-in-laws lake house in Hell. Just before we put our Dallas house on the market, I got a job offer that changed all the plans. Normally I'd be up there on vacation and get to attend as a spectator.

We went last year and had a great time. Try the beef dishes at the Blue Martini, they're excellent! Unfortunately, my engine is out of the car right now so we won't be driving "Helga", but my family and I will still try to stop by. Alot of nice cars and great people, you'll enjoy it! Pinckney is a nice little town with great, twisty roads!

I'll be there Saturday - maybe Friday. Several of us early car folk are meeting for breakfast on Saturday beforehand by Whitmore Lake (off US 23). Trying to get a good early car showing, as I hear there was a real lack of anything pre-73 last year.
