Porsche Crest New Exhaust

Here are some pics of my FloPro muffler setup.
I still need to clean up the welds and paint her up but it sounds great. Not sure about a tip. Might just paint it black and leave it.
(I don't like chrome.)
Muffler was half the price of a Flaumeister dual out($60).
Cost me $75 to have the system done at local Muffler Man.

Just another way to personlize my 911.

So it was a dual out that and you sealed one outlet?

Yes. It is for a Camaro/Firebird, 93-2003. I felt the dual out would be too loud for me taste. i figure I can always put another tailpipe on down the road. Gotta thank Mr. Mark Wilson for the tip on using this style muffler.

Thanks, BRJ.
I was looking at the setup you have dfor sale but wifey said no. So I did it this way. I am still in a little trouble but she usually only stays mad for a few days.
When I got it done, she did comment that it sounded pretty cool.

No worries, I congratulate you for taking the dive into something different and custom made, I always thought and still think the PRE-MADE "ELITE" exhaust out there are over priced. The way I see it, it is always JUST A MUFFLER in my eyes.

No muffler is worth $800 in my book.

Hmmm...I just ordered a set of B&B headers. I will not buy one of their mufflers, and was leaning to the Fabspeed. But, at $700 for that one, this may be the way to go. Do they make these in S/S?

My choice was strictly cost. I have overspent what I told my wife by ALOT!!!!
I have a video clip that RUFBlackbird hosted for me but I can't get it to download properly.I think it sounds good. Deeper tone at idle then raspier as you go through the gears. I drove a 930 Turbo with a Borla SS setup last year and I think it would get old after a while. Too loud for me.

efhughes--Check FloPro Mufflers .com. I believe they do offer them in SS but obviously the cost would be much more.

BTW--I did not notice any increase in power, just a more aggressive tone. Crackles nicely when you let off, too!!!!

For me, I love my dual in dual out Borla I have on my '76...the Flaumeister isn't as deep.

Here's the vid of Wayne's muffler, in quicktime format. Just wait 'till it loads.

at least yours is more exciting than my makeshift camera case/tripod with the whole video clip staring at the exhaust pipe

Thanks.
Have you thought about cutting your valence panel for two outlets kinda like the early race cars?

I thought about it, but since the 964 rear bumper I have is fiberglass, I'm not sure where exactly to cut. Plus, eventually (as in one day....) it'll be backdated back to an early 911 body style...in Speedster form.
