Starter wiring and problems-Engine re-install

I'm hoping that this a stupid question with an answer so obvious that i will slap myself. I re installed my engine today and am almost done with my turbo upgrade. For some reason when i connect the battery my starter spins. The selenoid does not engage and turn over the motor but it still spins even without the yellow wires connected. With only three wires to connect this seems like this should be the last part of my project i should have a problem with.
Thanks
Brandon

I just now realized that was the juntion from the Batt. to Alt. and that those wires should be connected to the same terminal. I'm not sure why there is 2 screw terminals on the back of the starter but i guess forgetting where the wires go is a hazzard of having a project take 5 times longer than expected.
Thanks for the help

Brandon,

Was searching the archives and I have the same problem. I could have written the exact same paragraph.

Only problem is, which terminal did you put both the cables on?

The two wires go to the terminal that doesn't have the ground strap and is closest to the right of the car. One wire is from the battery and the other from the alt. The other terminal just connects ground from the starter to the seliniod.
