Easy way to change the caliper bridges?

Ok - converting to the 993 calipers - and I'm doing some R & R before the install. I have to change the bridges so the I can bleed from the top.

I'm having a heck of a time loosening the bridge. I dremeled off the coating - hit it with PB blaster - but even with my handy flare wrench I am afraid I am going to strip it.

Is there an easier way? Help!

well... it is a bit tricky. you have to use the correct wrench- some call them flare nut wrenches. They have an extra pair of turn ins at the opening so you have to slide it over the line before you can engage the nut. If it still is too tight, then heat is in order- gentle heating with a propane torch- being very careful not to ignite the fluid or melt the rubber seals , so make sure when you wield the torch, you put the heat ONLY on the area immediately around the fastener you are trying to loosen. the caliper HAS to be firmly secured in a vise

Thanks have the correct flare nut wrench - so heat is next - appreciate the advice!
