AC compressor power
I'm looking for info about where to track down a problem with not getting 12V to the AC compressor. With the temp control at max and the evaporator fan on, I'm not getting enough voltage at the compressor connector to engage the clutch. I can see a small light spark when I touch the connectors so I know it's seeing a little power. I know there is a relay by the evaporator and some kind of temp switch in the passenger footwell. Can anyone suggest where to start diagnosing?

Mine failed at the ac switch in the center console. It got hot as H and then died. If not there, there is a relay in the smugglers box on the side wall and if not there, the ac resistor for temp control in the center console may have failed (you can jumper that out very easy).

Have you put a voltmeter on the connection to the compressor? That's where I'd start.
If you have to replace your switch, Griffiths sells a pretty slick looking replacement for the stock switch.
