Seats retrimmed pics

Hi all,

Just got my seats back from the re-trimmers.

I must say I am a little disappointed with the final results. Cork was a really hard colour to match, and the seats are a little more beige than the original cork.

Also the leather seems to be a little loose.

Does anyone know if the leather shrinks at all with age?

(The re-trimmer said it would so fingers crossed).

I'm really bummed that you're not 100% happy with the results, Simon. Especially considering I recommended these guys to you and that I'm thrilled with my seats. I don't know if you'd call it "shrinking", but my passenger seat had two areas where it was slightly loose fitting and they've firmed up within a week or so.

Yeah there ok, I guess i am a bit of a perfectionist, I am pretty fussy too.

The leather is nice and soft and smells nice. They might look a bit better when they are not so "brand new and bright" looking and hopefully the leather will shrink a bit.

The leather just needs to get rubbed in. Worn a bit, so drive drive drive

Just had my seats done also. They told me the same thing about the wrinkles that they would come out.

Not to be indelicate - but how much cash are you guys laying out to have this done?

I've been wrestling with this concept but the price quotes have me hesitating a whole bunch.

The seats cost $830.00 this was one hide of Porsche leather which was enough to to everything but the backs which were done in matching vinyl.

Mine cost $800 AU which is approx about $600 US.
