Picture Request - 3.2 'back side'

I am convinced I have an unmetered vacuum leak in my 1986 3.2. Idle has always been low [about 600] and not very smooth. Engine has less than 20K on it so I'm thinking there may have been something left disconnected in the post-rebuild reassembly, or an old line is cracked, or the like. I get little response from the engine in terms of less RPMs when I remove the oil filler cap.

I'd like to feel/look around the other side of the engine to make sure I am connected or find otherwise.

So, does anyone have a good res pict of the front of the engine? Between a pict and a mirror I should be able to see wht is there. I've seen a few diagrams, but a real picture would help greatly.

thanks

todd

I've got my engine ('86 3.2L, coincidentally) sitting on the floor right now. I'll see if I can find my roomy's digital camera and go get a picture of the front.

Here's some closer shots. Sorry they're a bit out of focus, but it should be close enough to show the detail you're looking for. Goshdernit, Randy -- you need to not post so quickly! Give some of us slower folks a chance to keep up!!

Sorry, Dan!

Guess that's one of the bennies of working in IT. Seems like I'm on this board every 10 minutes or so. Sometimes I hate when it's time to go home, cuz then I actually have to work!!!

lol, I suppose owning a good digital camera is one of those bennies, too, eh? I wonder if our silly little pictures helped at all?

Thanks guys. My cable TV/internet went down at home last night. I'll post what if anything I am able to find. I hate to take it in to the dealer for such a thing. Valve adjustment - yes; loose hose - no.

thanks

Todd,

Here's one more. It shows the hoses clearly. Sorry about the 17 years of dirt!
