Adjusting pedals rocks!

I adjusted my brake pedal and clutch pedal down today. Yay! I can heel and toe! My pedals don't make me feel like I'm wearing 4" pumps! I can't believe the factory shipped these cars the way they did. My clutch is a little higher than my brake for better feel but the whole assembly is lower and feels so much better! I didn't touch the gas pedal.

To all who haven't adjusted the brake and clutch down, pull the panel in your driver's footwell, get your wrenches out, and make yourself feel like an American driver again!

Some people have had the shaft from the brake pedal hang after adjusting. Are you going to do any DE's. If so then your brake pedal will likely be too low to heel n toe when you are threshold braking.

Just a couple of thoughts

He's right, bring it back up a hair. Normally, it should be tough to heel and toe with the rolling foot method. But when you really get with it, things equallize.

Garage
I started heel and toe with the "stock" pedal height and no aftermarket pedals. Works fairly well, if wearing driving shoes!

Not sure what bring it back up a "hair" means but I can threshold brake down from 100 and still heel and toe third to second rolling the foot. I've also tried using all of my leg strength and I can't bottom the MC or make the pedal hang up. I've got braided stainless lines so I wonder if those stiffen the pedal feel up enough so I can get away with this. All I can say is this has made as much of an improvement in driveability of the car as ripping out that giant center console that came in it.

I have no trouble heal toeing on the track when I have heavy pressure on the brake pedal. On the street though, it still isn't bad, but I would make sure that you still have full pedal travel in the event you need maximum pedal pressure.
