What is going rate for a good used oem muffler & cat for a 87 3.2 ??

not much. maybe $50 for the muffler and $50, or less, for the cat. Lots of them available due to not much demand.

Maybe $10. The problem with selling the muffler is that if someone has a stock muffler the damn thing lasts forever, seriously. I have one off my '86 with 133,000 miles and it looks like it is only a year or two old.

Here's a question: Will a muffler from an 84-89 Carrera fit an SC? They look similar. What are the differences? Mine has some pinholes in it and I wouldn't mind picking up a used one for my SC to save some $$$, but most of the used ones I've seen are for Carreras.
