Talking Kudos for North Hollywood

This BB has been an excellent source of which companies to avoid. I, however, would endorse North Hollywood Speedometers. I had them convert my speedometer to KM using a photo of a factory speedometer I have only seen once and they did it perfectly. They also replaced the bezel on my tach and it too looks perfect. Even after paying for return shipping the total was less than they originally quoted me for the work!

They have always been extremely helpful and knowledgable. Good to hear some organizations still take pride in their work!

Yes, I've found them hugely helpful, fast and economical. Helmut once took the time to draw me a wiring diagram of the speedo hookup, which I thought was very nice of him.

I concur! I was looking for a replacement clock for my 71 911 (the PO had removed it and velcroed a cheap digital clock to the opening). I was aware of the problems with the early clocks but did not want the quartz indication on the face of a late clock. North Hollywood did a neat little trick of putting an early face on a later quart VDO clock for no extra charge. They were just great in the way they treated me!!

They rebuilt my speedometer/odometer this spring and did a great job. Very fast service, too!
