Yup...that's what I would do....actually did it for ten years while I forgot where I grew up.....
You COULD go harass the guys at Pelican...near LAX....but they have been discouraging drop ins lately due to increased voulme and the need to make money....

go to tony callas/ suspension specialties-both in the same complex- located in torrance 19056 Hawthorne Bl, near 190th st. always some neat track prepped cars there
