She's gone.....to the painter.

All, My '72 E has gone to the painter for an extreme makeover. Is there anything I should address "while I'm in there" This is going to be a Concours car(Did I just say that!!??). Currently this is what's on the list:

1. Refinish fuel tank.
2. Fix ALL minor rust.
3. Refurbish dash.
4. Replace window trim.
5. Replace door sills and rocker trim.

Once the car is back I will be restoring the interior. I have the original radio thanks to OldAutoRadio and a new carpet kit. This winter I will be rebuilding the motor and giving the engine bay its final detailing.

Cheers, James

If the glass is out, it is the time to replace the headliner if needed!

All the best,

Jim, It's going to be Silver as per the paint code in the door jam. It's silver now so it should be pretty straightforward.

Thanks, James - I'll keep Julio in mind for when I get around to my own 'makeover'.
