Saw this car in Brisbane Australia the other night.

Any experts out there wish to provide some input on this lovely machine.

I will include the found in a barn story at a later date....

I want to hump that car.

Look the steering wheel is on the US/left side! Not meant for the Australian's or Brits I guess.

I hear from a US Expat, that you can bring in a left hand drive car and DRIVE IT, if the car is over 30 years old...

Bump, I want to hear the story.

Mike, I thought that the car had to be built in the 1960's to be legal. I want to say '67 or before.

It'a a Wanderer roadster, approx 1938. Wanderer, Audi, DKW, and Horch merged in 1932 to form Auto Union, and all wore the four linked rings on the grille, currently Audi's logo.

1936 Wanderer claimed as a war trophy after WW2. The car ended up in California with the new owner, evedently a army officer. It eventually ended up in a shed and was pretty much original when bought by a local business man and ship to Australia in 2002.

Since then the car has been going through a restoration process.
