Porsche Crest Radio Dead

I recently had a dead battery in my 96 C4. I changed the battery and now the radio wont power on. I check the main fuse box but nothing was blown. I changed the radio fuse anyway still nothing. I have a CDR-210 does anyone have any clue what to do?

Does it have a code to power it up? Check the book on the unit.

Get a test light and see if you have power after the fuses....

Hahahah No I wasnt listening to Lionel Richie and I have changed the battery once before and the code usually comes up on the LCD display first when you reconect the battery and turn the radio on for the first time. Im going to get the tool to remove the radio from the dash today and see if it could possibly be the fuse on the back of the radio I believe its a 10amp fuse? If that doesnt work does anyone have any other ideas...

Call the dealer and ask about a radio code and your acssociated problem.
Pepe Porsche in White Plains is pretty good.

Check the antenna plug that goes into the back of your radio....It's a thick wired (Black) plug...Bet that's the problem.

I checked the fuses they are fine. Where is the AMP located on a the 1996 C4? Are their seperate fuses behind the radio and the amp?
