S03s - What are the warning signs of reaching their cornering limits?

So far I have not found the cornering limits of my SO3s......

Before I get myself in trouble, can someone from experience describe what the tires will exhibit before they break away?

Do they squeal or do they just break loose?

Also if I can't to an autocross or skid pad school soon, are their any dangers to doing my own skid pad in an abandoned parking lot? The back end will come around, right? I'm in no danger of rolling it or some other such horrible event....right?

I'm running 245/45/16 and 205/50/16s.

Thanks

Mike

My experience with the SO3 at drivers ed was a gradual squeel and then a progressive slide that was easy to counter with steering. My 88 coupe was easily sent into 4 wheel drift, NO surprises. Max Fun.
I can't imagine you'd roll it unless the surfaces were not fair and even, as long as you keep it in second like at drivers training. Also the turns you make should not be abrupt .
I think everyone here would recommend a drivers ed.

Here is a short video clip with my S03s begging for mercy. They really squeal rather loud before they break away. Mrdi's suggestion of a DE is a great idea.
