Hood Emblem-Where to Place?

I am putting a new hood emblem on my 930 but am unsure of the measurements of where to place it as the previous owner removed it and I cannot see any signs of where it was...any ideas on how far up from the end of the hood to place it?

Looking at the bottom side, just behind the latch is a reinforcing rib. In that rib, are two holes. Those holes are to access the speed-nuts for the badge.
