pre-73 muffler same as post-74 with SSIs?
Hi,
I had a question from a potential buyer about a Dansk dual-in/dual-out muffler I'm selling. I know it works for 914-6's and pre-73 911s. Will it also work on the later cars with SSIs? FS: Dansk SS dual-in/dual-out muffler -Steve |

Not without some modifications. First the seam where it hits against the crank pulley may need to be beaten down to clear the pulley. Second the later years had the cutout lower on the valance to clear the bumper. Might have to cut off and reweld the muffler tips.
