Help? What’s wrong with this picture?
This is my first 911. It is a 74 that had a damaged glass C2 conversion. I'm trying to restore it back to its original bumpers and lights. It's been a bit of an adventure as I'm not very experienced with 911’s.
Ok I just installed the taillights and rear reflector as well as the rear bumper, but there is an obvious problem. There is a gap between the bumper and the rear reflector as can be seen in the pictures. This gap looks terrible. I’ve looked threw my pill of restoration supplies but I can’t find anything to fill this gap. I can't lower the reflector/tail lights and I can’t raise the rear bumper. Is there a rear smiley, like there is in the front? Sometimes these 'fun' projects can be so frustrating. Any advice and/or pictures of what it ‘should’ look like would be great.
