throttle sticks at 1200 rpm
My throttle appears to be sticking at 1200. Quick tap on the gas returns it to normal. The linkage is clean and well oiled. Car has 47k. Is there a module that is not returning the idle speed on deceleration... possibly?

The throttle plate maybe touching the inside of the throttle body or the springs are not retracting enough. Instead of tapping the gas, go into the engine compartment and move the throttle lever back onto the stop screw by hand. (Careful with the fan and belt) If the RPM does not drop, something is sticky in the linkage.

There is no throttle position sensor on these cars?
