Pricing help needed

Hi,

I need to get an idea of what I can reasonably expect to sell my car for in order to make a decision on buying a 993 C4S. I can't accept BA's values as the current market on early cars. This board always seems to have a handle on values.

Details:

1973 911 E, 83,000 S options & appearance group, sport recaros (not in car), good paint (repainted original color +/- 10 years ago).

Major work done in last 3 years:

Body: battery boxes cut out and new welded in when I bought the car in 2001. No other rust issues.

Engine : about 7000 mis on top end rebuild due to valve guide ware, done by a well known shop on east cost. New P&C (2.2S pistons), mfi system (Bottom end check out w/i spec)

Suspension: last winter - 22/28 torsion bars, koni red front/yellow rear, turbo tie rods, new ball joints, elephant racing bushings up front, neatrix rear, new sway bar bushings f & r

Brakes: last winter - f/r calipers rebuilt, new slotted rotors front, SS lines, new front hard lines, +/- 5,000 mis on stock rear rotors.

Transmission - no issues since I bought car; new shifter bushings, clutch cable, seine systems gate shift kit,

There are a bunch of little upgrades/replacements that I can't think of right now. The original front & rear seats have been removed and stored. I use the car primarily for DE.

The only pictures I have right now are from the track:

Thanks

Just a shot in the dark from a less than knowledgeable observer, but I would say $15 - 20K depending on all the normal variables. I have been looking at early cars for a while now, so this is my best guess. If you have the coveted early Porsche / Recaro sport seats, maybe you should sell those seperately from the car to maximize your return.

Thanks Bill

Thats the range I was thinking. Good idea about the seats. I also have 2 sets of fuchs and other misc parts I could sell to raise a little more $.
