What is the correct name?
 

What is the area called on 911's that is notorious for rusting out. It is inside the door opening where on my car the rubber threshold thing slightly covers some of it. The area right in front of where the horizontal part curves upward. I had a hole there that I cut out and fiberglassed years ago, that I am thinking I will redo with metal since the car is getting stripped anyways. I am just wondering what part to tell whoever I call to order one from.

Any help appreciated.
