Avon Tech M500 tires - anyone tried them?

The subject says it all. Interested in any feedback on these tires. They're new to me and, apparently, fairly new to tirerack. Only seven reviews, but they're all very posiive.

No I have not, they look really cool, I think time will tell. Had these been available when I bought my Yoko AVS E100s I may have them considered them.

No experience with those, but another tire to consider depending on what size you use:
I just ordered a set of Fuzion ZRi's for my regular car ('02 wrx wgn). Fuzion is a new brand being launched by Bridgestone for the import/ rice crowd. The thing is, they basically just took their RE750 and called it something else. That and they cut the price by $40 per tire, probably to jumpstart the brand. Might be worth looking into.

I'm not familiar with Fuzion, but just make sure they didn't incorporate any color in their compounds. Our local track charges $1 per foot of colored tread marks from some of the "ricer" tires. NO, I don't know this from personal experience....yet found it funny that they had to go to this. I guess yellow or red stripes would look tacky in a field of black

Uh, they're not that ricer. Funny, though. No, these, side by side with RE750s, would be a little difficult to tell apart. The name, logo and marketing is what's rice.
