WUR Warmup Time

Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it in a search.

I have a 1982 SC. How long should the WUR take to warm up?

It really depends on how warm/cold the ambient temp, how long the engine has been sitting and your warm up driving style. The cooler it is, the richer the startup mix will be and the longer it will take to lean out. The best way to tell is to hook up the CIS pressure gauges and see how long it takes for the pressure to settle.

Winter: maybe 5 minutes max for the WUR to settle and another 10-15 to get the oil temps up.

Summer: A minute or so for the WUR and about 5-10 for the oil.

i can idle my car about 5 minutes and the pressures will start to move up. they go pretty fast right from the start. but @ five mins it is pretty much at warm control pressures.
