Rear wheel bearing help

I've searched already to get this far, now I'm stuck.

Ive removed, caliper, rotor, rear shock, parking brake shoes/cable & I've been able to pry out the hub without much difficulty.

All thats left is the actual bearing. (Which has partially fallen apart) (ball bearings all over floor)
Ive seen the home depot parts post. Is there any other way? I assume the bearing gets pulled to the OUTSIDE of the car?

TIA for advice. Pics always help. -John

rear wheel bearing removal

Hi F-T
I did this job a couple of years ago and used teh Sir-Tool bearing puller. Yes, the bearing is pushed out. I don't know any other means to do this than with a bearing install/puller.

When the bearing is in this kind of shape, get a big pipe and a bigger hammer and drive the race out.

You have to be nice to the new bearing, but not to the old one. You won't hurt the trailing arm. You can always apply a liitle heat around the bearing on the side towards the direction you plan on removing it. Try to keep the bearing race cool. One way to do this is too put the hub in the freezer, then insert it in the bearing a little as a heat sink. Take the hub back out and hammer away.

Just take the hub to your local Firestone, NTB or wherever and have the bearing race pressed out. Easy, fast with the right equipment.
