German Parts
I have been waiting for weeks for a part, pn# 911 561 140 00. It is a little plastic end cap that installs on an 85 down, cabriolet. The dealers I have talked to said it is not available here in the U.S. The part is a little triangular shaped plastic end cap, about 30mm wide, and weighs maybe 2 or 3 grams, that is installed on the right side, hinge end of the front half of a cabriolet roof frame, when the top is up, it is sandwitched between the front and rear halves, when the top is down, it is visible. Its purpose is to cap-off the open tube frame of the front section, so there is not just a gaping hole there, the boot has a cut-out in it, so it is very noticable if not in place. The cost at my usual P-car dealer is $2.47 U.S. Is there anyone in Germany, or any other area in Europe, that would be willing checking on this part for me? If so, please email, or pm me.
