i managed to screw up my perfectly good engine by flooding it
so can't make it... need to buget badly to fix my engine :(

thanks all for the kind words, and I am not off the hook...unless something changes I can plan on another trip in the future (probably right when all the fun things I want to do are scheduled).

K9 friend, the most important thing right now is that you're coming back to your family and your...home (in Europe, yes, I hope you can consider that your second home). I've looked at the map and, yes, (if necessary) I can be at Kaiserslautern as early as 10:00 hrs on that sunday, wpagw (weather permitting all going well)... I'll send you an email. And, thanks for the invitation. Beer's on me.

OK, Smitty already knows it by PM, but I'm definitely coming on Sunday intend to be there by 1400 hrs. Got the route all figured out (thanks Smitty), it's about 380 km one way, for which I'm taking out a whopping 4 (yes, four) hours...
Looking forward to it, bringing some Belgian Trappist ale (but not for my drinking, gotta make it back home same day!)
BTW, I'm coming alone (I have an empty seat, and two very small ones in the back).

I have my car inspected by the USA Military Inspection office...so maybe they follow a different guideline. I do have the CAT for the car, so that counts. Ha ha
